22nd May, 2024, The Cultural Village Foundation-Katara, and the Global Public Diplomacy Network (GPDNet), as part of events dedicated to the 9th General Assembly, hosted a photography exhibition “National Dress: Source of Pride and Heritage”.
Joined by the representatives of the Member Countries and their esteemed Embassies, the exhibition was opened by Prof. Dr. Khalid Al Sulaiti, the General Manager of Katara Cultural Village Foundation and President of GPDNet.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Khalid Al Sulaiti has highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting the uniqueness of ethnic costumes of the members and their heritage for future generations.
The exhibition featured photographs showcasing traditional costumes from 20 GPDNet Countries: Bosnia, Bulgaria, Cuba, Ghana, Hungary, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Mozambique, Nigeria, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Rwanda, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkiye and Ukraine.
