Professional Career
A strategic-minded, results-orientated Information Technology Executive with an outstanding record of achievement in managing large and complex IT infrastructure operations and technology portfolios in Start-ups and large corporate concerns and Government businesses. He has over 30 years of experience in Engineering, IT Service Management, Organizational Restructuring and IT Governance Frameworks, Contract Negotiation and Management, Risk and Information Security Management, Project Management and Election Management Technologies. Dr. Yeboah-Afari became the Director-General at GI-KACE in 2021 after serving as the Director for IT & Projects at the Electoral Commission of Ghana, responsible for the 2020 General Elections, Director of Network Services with CACI International responsible for the Maryland Department of Transportation’s network. He holds a Strategic Leadership and Management Certificate from the University of Illinois, GIES College of Business, a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) – Project Management from Northcentral University, Masters in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Bowie State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from KNUST. He holds several Information Technology industry certificates, including Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMIACP), ITIL v3 Intermediate – Service Operations, ITIL v3 Foundation, and ISO 20000 Foundation. He is passionate about the Digital Transformational Agenda of building human capacity to use computers, the internet and technology to advance economic inclusion
